history

The village was founded in 1732 when it belonged to the Königshorst district . In 1737 the first families settled in Deutschhof. In 1858 the Dreibrück settlement was added to Deutschhof , at that time it was just an inn. In 1928 Kuhhorst was incorporated. In the same year, the towns of Ribbeckshorst and Sandhorst were added to Deutschhof, both of which had previously belonged to Königshorst.

The place Dreibrück was mentioned for the first time in 1725, since 1721 an inn has stood here. The name comes from three bridges that crossed three dams here. In 1914, the "Hope Valley" association founded the "Dreibrück Home". 50 homeless people from Berlin should be accommodated here. This is still where the “communities hope for institutions Lobetal, Dreibrück homes, homes for people with disabilities” are located.

Kuhhorst is about four kilometers northeast of Deutschhof. The place was laid out as a Vorwerk by Königshorst. This was caused by King Friedrich Wilhelm I in 1720/1721. Drainage began in 1722, the Vorwerk was built in 1737, and in 1778 twelve people lived here. In 1953 a type I LPG was founded, which was converted into a type III LPG a year later.

The Ribbeckshorst district is located west of Deutschhof, just under a kilometer away. The Vorwerk was founded in 1784. In 1840 Ribbeck zu Ribbeck in Havelland acquired the Vorwerk, hence the name Ribbeckshorst.
