Devon , also Devin Striker (born March 28, 1977 in New Jersey ; real life Kristie Marie Lisa ) is an American porn actress .

Life

Devon grew up in Allentown , Pennsylvania . After winning an amateur strip competition at Al's Diamond Cabaret in Reading, Pennsylvania, she stripped at the bar for the next three years.

She became aware of Vivid Entertainment when her ex-boyfriend sent the company an amateur porn video - she had made her first amateur film back in 1995 - to the company. Devon was then hired by Vivid in 1998 for the film New Breed . In the same year she was signed exclusively by Vivid Video . From 2001 to 2003, she was engaged to Barrett Blade , who had been her boyfriend before starting her porn career, initially acting as her manager and later also starring in films with her.

On March 12, 1999, she gave an interview on Howard Stern's radio show . She quickly gained further notoriety and posed for the covers of glossy magazines such as Club and Penthouse , where she became the Penthouse Pet in January 2001. After two and a half years at Vivid, she moved to Jill Kelly Productions , but soon left the company and signed an exclusive contract with Digital Playground . Devon's first project with Digital Playground was the interactive DVD Virtual Sex with Devon , which won the AVN Award for Best Interactive DVD in January 2002 . During the year, the DVD also won awards from Empire and AVR.

In 2002 there was also the film Devon: Stripped (directed by Nic Andrews ), the plot of which has parallels to her career. Other films with Devon include the porn road movie Rush , in which she starred alongside her then fiancé Blade (also directed by Nic Andrews), Island Fever 2 with Tera Patrick and No Limits with Jesse Jane .

In 2003/2004, Devon starred in the first high-definition porn film on WMV-HD-DVD Island Fever 3 , shot in Tahiti and Bora Bora . Island Fever 3 is also one of Digital Playground's first films on HD DVD . The overwhelming majority of the film won the Viewers Choice Award at the AVN Award 2004 and was named Best High Definition Production at the 2005 AVN Award . Her film Devon: Erotique came out in March 2005 and the critically acclaimed film Pirates , which won eleven AVN awards, among others, came out in September 2005 . In October 2006 she signed a contract with Shane's World , where her directorial debut, Devon does Baja , appeared.

In the 2005 television series Entourage , she appeared in a minor supporting role in the episode I Love You Too as herself.

In 2010 Devon was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame .
