Tera Patrick (born July 25, 1976 in Great Falls , Montana ; actually Linda Ann Hopkins ) is an American model , former porn actress and entrepreneur . Her career in the porn industry lasted from 1999 to 2008. Patrick was one of the most successful actresses worldwide and also made the leap to becoming a pop cultural personality. With her own production company Teravision , she continues to market her website and footage even after her career has ended.

In 2000 and 2001 she received the NightMoves Award , the AVN Award and the XRCO Award as well as the European Hot d'or as Best New Starlet . Your entrepreneurial activities were honored with an Eroticline Award in 2007 . She was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2009, the NightMoves in 2007 and the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2014 . Patrick also used the pseudonyms Brooke , Tera Hopkins , Sadie Jordan , Tara Patrick , Linda Shapiro and Brooke Thomas in their appearances . The stage name Tera Patrick is a reference to the real name Tara Leigh Patrick of the actress Carmen Electra .

Tera Patrick is the daughter of a British father and a Thai mother. Discovered as a talent in San Francisco at the age of thirteen, Patrick moved to New York City shortly afterwards and worked as a child model on the catwalk and for catalogs. At the age of 18, she took the GED test , the equivalent of a high school graduation, and began studying to be a nurse , but dropped out and became an emergency paramedic instead .

In the late 1990s, Patrick began modeling again, this time for nude and soft porn . In 1999 she began as an actress in the film Aroused by Andrew Blake her career in hardcore pornographic film industry . She became one of the most famous porn actresses worldwide, her photos appeared in Playboy and Penthouse , among others . As the only woman so far, she was to be seen on the front pages of both magazines at the same time. Patrick achieved his international breakthrough in 2000 with the interactive DVD Virtual Sex with Tera Patrick from Digital Playground . It can also be seen on Digital Sin’s My Plaything interactive DVD series . In 2008 the interactive DVD InTERActive with Patrick received the AVN Award as “Best Interactive DVD”. After a legal dispute, Patrick separated from the production company Digital Playground in 2002, which still claims exclusive rights to her stage name. After she left, she underwent breast augmentation . From December 16, 2003 she was under contract with Vivid Video and after a two-year break she was seen for the first time in the film Tera, Tera, Tera together with her future husband Evan Seinfeld , the lead singer of the well-known metal hardcore band Biohazard , who performed under the stage name Spyder Jonez . In 2005, their production company Teravision signed a cooperation agreement with Private .

In 2004 Tera Patrick was portrayed as one of 30 well-known porn actors by American photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders in his book XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits and his HBO documentary Thinking XXX . On January 9, 2004, Patrick and Evan Seinfeld married after a three-year relationship in Las Vegas during the AVN Awards at the time . Well-known films with Tera are the works Island Fever (with Briana Banks ), Island Fever 2 (with Devon ) and Island Fever 3 (with Jesse Jane ), all of which are set in the great outdoors . In September 2009, Patrick and Seinfeld announced their divorce. In December of the same year, she published her book Sinner Takes All , written in collaboration with Carrie Borzillo , which focuses, in particular, on her early life, her marketing trips to more than 80 countries and her love life. She lives in Los Angeles with her partner, special effects producer Tony Acosta, and their daughter Sophie, who was born in 2012 .

Patrick is now a frequent guest at comic conventions and even takes part in cosplay events in costume .
