Diana Gutjahr

Diana Gutjahr (* 1984 ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ) and entrepreneur.

biography

Diana Gutjahr studied business administration in St. Gallen (business economist FH). She is on the board of directors of the medium-sized family company Ernst Fischer AG, Stahl- und Metallbau in Romanshorn , which she runs together with her husband.

Diana Gutjahr was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Thurgau from April 2012 to October 2017 . Since 2013 she has been Vice President of the Thurgau Trade Association and Vice President of the employers' association Romanshorn and the surrounding area . After Hansjörg Walter announced his retirement as a member of the National Council at the end of November 2017 , she replaced him. She has set herself the political priorities of business and education.

In the parliamentary elections on October 20, 2019 , Gutjahr was elected directly to the National Council for the first time after moving up in 2017 for the SVP .

Gutjahr is married and lives in Amriswil in Thurgau .
