Diana Mezuliáníková (born April 10, 1992 in Bruntál , ČSSR ) is a Czech athlete who specializes in middle-distance running.
Athletic career
Diana Mezuliáníková gained her first international experience in 2011 when she finished seventh in the 800 meter run in the 800 meter run in 2: 09.11 minutes at the European Junior Championships in Tallinn . Two years later she started in the 1500 meter run at the U23 European Championships in Tampere , but was eliminated there with 4: 18.24 minutes in the lead. In 2014 she qualified over 1500 meters for the European Championships in Zurich , where she was eliminated in the first round with 4: 15.40 minutes. At the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2015 in Prague she finished seventh in 4: 16.93 minutes and then took part in the Summer Universiade in Gwangju , where she finished sixth in 4: 23.14 minutes. In 2018 she reached the finals at the European Championships in Berlin , where she was classified in tenth place after 4: 07.82 minutes. The following year she was eliminated from the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow with 4: 18.89 minutes in the lead and over 800 meters she took part in the World Championships in Doha for the first time in late summer , but failed there with 2: 03.48 minutes in the preliminary round .
In 2015 Mezuliáníková became Czech champion in the 800-meter run outdoors and in 2014 and from 2018 to 2020 indoors. In addition, she won the 1500 meters in the hall in 2017 and 2020.
