Diana Sorbello (born June 27, 1979 in Bocholt ) is a German pop singer .

Career

Diana Sorbello is the child of an Italian ice cream parlor owner. As a child she was trained in classical ballet for thirteen years and in jazz dance for a year. From 1998 to 2003 she studied sociology , education , and civil law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and graduated with a Magister Artium . The main topic of her master's thesis was famous! On the cult cult in the media society - a culture-critical discussion .

In 1996 Sorbello was discovered by the singer of the group Wind . She got her first record deal in 1997 with Koch International as Diana with the title I want back to you . In 2011 she moved to the producer Reiner Hömig (including Bläck Fööss ) in Cologne, where she has lived since then.

In 2002 she appeared in Bild as a figurehead for the soccer World Cup and modeled for a campaign for Krüger Cappuccino , a TV commercial followed in the winter of 2004. From 2004 to 2006 she worked as a weekly columnist for Sport Bild . In 2006, Sorbello had a photo shoot for Maxim .
