concept

season 1

In the first season of the comedy show, in addition to singing and dancing, live skits with studio guests are shown. There are also films such as parodies of well-known German personalities and skits. Feature films and stage actions about the fictional characters Rebecca (Kebekus) and Larissa (Hill), two YouTubers who are known from the comedy shows PussyTerror TV and Switch reloaded , will also be shown.

Each edition of the first season starts and ends with a dance by Martina Hill. There is also a dance interlude after a commercial break. Short stand-ups will be presented by Hill before and after films . In addition, a live sketch is played with a studio guest, either Daniela Katzenberger or Carolin Kebekus .

season 2

In the second season there is no moderation in the studio. There are no more live skits with studio guests and no more stage actions. Only the feature films have remained. The show reminds stylistically to the sketch comedy - series Knallerfrauen .

The amigas

The Amigas are a fictional band. It consists of the characters "Bärbel" and "Karl-Heinz", both of whom are embodied by Martina Hill.

The Amigas appeared in the first episode of the Martina Hill Show. You were guests in the ZDF television garden with Andrea Kiewel (Martina Hill) and presented the title “My favorite animal is the bratwurst”. In the following episodes both appeared repeatedly. The (fictional) album was presented in one episode in “Shopping-Shop 24”.

On November 30, 2018, the Amigas' first single was released under the title Mein Lieblingstier ist die Bratwurst on Amiga Records. The song was featured on the first episode of the show. On September 13, 2019, the second single was released, Take a vacation in your own pants .

Production and broadcast

In June 2018, the broadcaster Sat.1 announced that a new comedy show entitled The Martina Hill Show with the eponymous actress and comedian Martina Hill had been commissioned. This should be broadcast as part of the block programming with the name Fun Friday . The show is Martina Hill's second own TV show after Knallerfrauen and the first own studio show.

Four months later, at the beginning of October 2018, Sat.1 announced the start of broadcasting. The show, produced by RedSeven Entertainment and initially designed for eight episodes, started on October 26, 2018 at 11:15 p.m. after the entertainment show Luke! The 2000s and me . A second season followed with quotas around the channel average. The film was shot in Cologne under the direction of Marco Musienko .

In July 2020, Hill announced on Facebook with a picture and a hashtag that the third season is currently being produced.
