The Langheimers
"The Langheimer" are a German artist group from Düsseldorf .
history
In 1982 Robert Hartmann , Werner Reuber , Ulrike Zilly and Nils Kristiansen founded the artist group “Die Langheimer”. The group is named after the former Cistercian monastery of Klosterlangheim in Upper Franconia , where it was founded. Kristiansen left the group in 1985. The Langheimers produce works of art, actions , exhibitions, artist books and films together. Her figurative art ( painting , printmaking , drawing ) is characterized by irony and anarchic comedy.
