Island travel

Because of the onset of winter after the Olympic Games, the whole family has to fight a cold. You decide to fly to Mallorca in a self-made plane. When they arrived in Mallorca, the family met Chief Magaluv and his family. They have a problem because a devil ray is making the island's beach unsafe. Father Ben and Magaluv therefore decide to persuade the magician and flute master Schopino to drive away the ray. Schopino transforms the ray into a butterfly, which then flies away. Back home, Fliesa and Sten are kidnapped again. This time from beef steak eaters. Father Ben and mother Knuta receive help from the two detectives Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson , who find a hot lead to England .

First broadcast: October 22, 1972

Space adventure

Mother Knuta wants to free the moon from its dusty spots. For this reason, the whole family flies to the moon in a rocket built by father Ben. Well supplied with provisions by Fliesa and Sten, the moon is not just the only stage of this discovery tour.

background

  • After Josef Göhlen left the editorial office for children of the Hessischer Rundfunk, Harald Schäfer wanted to let the Stone Age children blow a new wind. But the series failed: After the first broadcast, this puppet show was only repeated four times. The reason for this was probably the many drawn still images that were shown every now and then.
  • There are numerous allusions in the series. For example, the Stone Age Olympic Games are an allusion to the later Olympic Games .
