Dana Boyer is in a car accident and her car catches fire. Fireman Mike Grant saves them. Both are impressed with each other but fail to exchange names and addresses. They also have steadfast relationships, and Grant is supposed to get married soon.

Mike goes to the hospital that Dana was taken to, but she is no longer there. However, she is also looking for the unknown firefighter. They both happen to be helped by the same 10-year-old, Corey. Corey realizes that they are looking for each other.
