Paget Brewster
Paget Brewster Valerie (* 10. March 1969 in Concord , Massachusetts ) is an American actress , mainly for her role as Emily Prentiss on the CBS - crime series Criminal Minds has become known.
Life
Brewster was introduced to the general public through her role in the television series Friends , in which she played Chandler's friend Kathy for six episodes of the fourth season . She also played the role of Jessica Green in the short-lived comedy series Die Welt and Andy Richter . She plays the math teacher Amy Pierson in the independent film The Big Bad Swim . Brewster briefly had his own talk show and was a bartender in what would later become Andy Boy's Drunk Tank in San Francisco .
Brewster began voicing the animated character Birdgirl on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law in 2005 . In early 2006, she announced that she had received an offer from Hugh Hefner to pose in Playboy . She had seriously considered accepting this offer. Her parents had also given her their blessing on the grounds that they would prefer Playboy magazines like Maxim and FHM , but Brewster turned it down anyway so that her career would not be in danger. At the same time she also photographed models for the SuicideGirls website . Also in 2006 she was cast in the lead role of Emily Prentiss in the crime series Criminal Minds . After six years in that role, Brewster announced her departure from the series after the seventh season in February 2012.
Brewster is a regular performer on Thrilling Adventure Hour , an old radio-themed stage show that is recorded monthly at the Coronet Theater in Los Angeles. In the Beyond Belief pieces she plays the recurring role of Sadie Doyle , a drunken New York celebrity who communicates with the supernatural together with her husband Frank Doyle .
She also appeared in several episodes of Drunk History , a US television series produced by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, in which drunken actors retold and act out stories from American history.
In 2013, Brewster appeared as Trish in episode 20 of Modern Family . There she plays an art expert who is dating Gloria's ex-husband Javier . In the same year she appeared in episode 105 of Drunk History on Comedy Central. In January 2014, Brewster made a cameo on a season 5 episode of Community . In the sixth season she was part of the supporting cast of the series in another role.
Between 2015 and 2016 she played a leading role in the series Grandfathered . After the series was canceled , she was initially only to return to Criminal Minds for several guest appearances in 2016 , but after Thomas Gibson left , she rejoined the main cast.
Brewster has been speaking the role of Della Duck in the animated series DuckTales since 2018 .
