The good side is the second studio album by the German indie rock band Sportfreunde Stiller .

It was recorded again in Spain and produced by Uwe Hoffmann . Sportfreunde Stiller was able to record their first chart success with the pre- single, A Compliment .

• A total of three singles were released: A compliment (release: March 4th, 2002), Come on (release: May 27th, 2002) and days like this (release: September 16, 2002).
• There was also a limited edition of the album as a digipack, which contained the bonus song cipher .
• The song A Compliment was covered and published by Scala & Kolacny Brothers in 2011 and Heino and Callejon in 2013 .
• The song Independent is part of the soundtrack for the video game FIFA Football 2003 .
