Peter Stephan Brugger (born November 14, 1972 in Germering ; often called Peter S. Brugger ; also Peter Balboa or Beau Frost ) is a German singer and guitarist for the band Sportfreunde Stiller .

After completing primary school, he attended the Carl-Spitzweg-Gymnasium in Unterpfaffenhofen , a suburb of Germering, until 1992 . During his school days he played drums in several bands. He initially studied - together with Florian Weber - sport for a diploma in Munich, then switched to a teaching degree for sport and Latin, but ultimately did not complete the course. In 2006 he had his greatest success with the band Sportfreunde Stiller, the song " '54, '74, '90, 2006 " (later 2010), which became the unofficial anthem of the 2006 World Cup .

In 2006 he and his brother Olli Brugger performed at the Bundesvision Song Contest with the band TipTop for the Free State of Bavaria . In 2008 he again represented Bavaria at the Bundesvision Song Contest , this time with Sportfreunde Stiller.

Brugger is an avowed fan of FC Bayern Munich and close friends with the former professional footballer Mehmet Scholl . In 2007 the cinema portrait "Frei: Gespiel" about Mehmet Scholl with him was published.

On the 2014 released album Everything is lit by Fiva is Brugger guest vocals in the song As long as you sing with me to hear. In the same year he wrote and sang the title My Head Plays Bingo for the Jonathan Express project as a contribution to the soundtrack for the movie Rico, Oskar and the Deep Shadows .
