Dieter Kraft (theologian)
Dieter Kraft (* 1949 ) is a German Protestant theologian and was an unofficial employee of the GDR State Security .
Life
After completing his university entrance qualification, Kraft studied Protestant theology at the Humboldt University in Berlin . Under the chair of systematic theology Hanfried Müller , he submitted his dissertation in 1979 on a topic of the theological legacy of Dietrich Bonhoeffer . He was involved in church politics in the Weißensee working group and wrote a. a. in the Weißensee leaves . He was a member of the Christian Peace Conference and gave lectures and discussions at its meetings.
After the German reunification , the teaching activity he was aiming for ended. In a protest letter dated February 23, 1991, he resigned from his position as a senator at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
Kraft was an unofficial employee of the GDR State Security under the code name "IM Michael".
Since then he has been making a living as a tax advisor . He edited the Marxist quarterly magazine “ Topos ” and published in left-wing political daily newspapers such as the Junge Welt and in the magazine Utopie Kreativ of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung . In 2006 he published a festschrift for the 80th birthday of his teacher Hanfried Müller.
Kraft lives in Berlin and is married to Pastor Constanze Kraft.
