Dimosthenis Tambakos ( Greek Δημοσθένης Ταμπάκος , born November 12, 1976 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek gymnast .

Tambakos first took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where he participated in the individual all-around and in parallel bars, but each achieved poor results. Only on the rings did he get the silver medal, only beaten by Szilveszter Csollány . But at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , he achieved the Olympic gold medal on the rings. He won his first and so far only gold medal.
