Chen Yibing ( Chinese : 陈 一 冰, Chén Yībīng; born December 19, 1984 in Tianjin ) is a Chinese gymnast .

Life

Chen Yibing's flagship device is the rings . He won several national and international gymnastics competitions. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing he won the gold medal on the rings and won gold in the all-around with the Chinese team. At the World Championships in Aarhus in 2006 , in Stuttgart in 2007 , in Rotterdam in 2010 and in Tokyo in 2011 , Chen won gold in both the team all-around and on the rings. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , China was able to repeat victory in the team competition, while Chen on the rings as the favorite surprisingly finished second behind Brazilian Arthur Zanetti .
