District rabbinate Burgkunstadt

The district rabbinate Burgkunstadt was created according to the regulations of the Bavarian Jewish edict of 1813 around 1825 in Burgkunstadt , a town in the district of Lichtenfels in northern Bavaria .

After the death of the district rabbi Eduard Goitein in 1914 the Distriktsrabbinat Burgkunstadt was in the 1915 Distriktsrabbinat Bayreuth incorporated .

tasks

The duties included advising on school matters, managing foundations and distributing alms . To finance the district rabbinates, levies were paid by the individual Jewish communities.
