District rabbinate Gunzenhausen
The district rabbinate Gunzenhausen was established according to the regulations of the Bavarian Jewish edict of 1813 in Gunzenhausen , a town in the Central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen in Bavaria .
Abraham Böheim was the last rabbi of the district rabbinate. After his death, the Gunzenhausen district rabbinate was abolished and incorporated into the Schwabach district rabbinate .
tasks
The duties included advising on school matters, managing foundations and distributing alms . To finance the district rabbinates, levies were paid by the individual Jewish communities.
