The district rabbinate Kriegshaber was established according to the regulations of the Bavarian Jewish edict of 1813 in Kriegshaber , a district of Augsburg .

After the founding of the Augsburg Jewish community in 1861, the Kriegshaber district rabbinate was relocated to Augsburg in 1862 .

tasks

The duties included advising on school matters, managing foundations and distributing alms . To finance the district rabbinates, levies were paid by the individual Jewish communities.
