District rabbinate Uehlfeld

The district rabbinate Uehlfeld was established according to the regulations of the Bavarian Jewish edict of 1813 in Uehlfeld , a municipality in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in northern Bavaria .

After the death of Rabbi Hajum Chaim Selz in 1876, the rabbinate was no longer occupied and incorporated into the Fürth district rabbinate .

tasks

The duties included advising on school matters, managing foundations and distributing alms . To finance the district rabbinates, levies were paid by the individual Jewish communities.
