The district rabbinate of Würzburg was established according to the regulations of the Bavarian Jewish edict of 1813 in Würzburg , a city in the Bavarian administrative district of Lower Franconia .

tasks

The duties included advising on school matters, managing foundations and distributing alms . To finance the district rabbinates, levies were paid by the individual Jewish communities.
