District rabbinate Niederwerrn
The Niederwerrn District Rabbinate was established in 1839 in Niederwerrn , a municipality in the Schweinfurt district in northern Bavaria . It was founded as a result of the reorganization of the Jewish communities on the basis of the Bavarian Jewish edict of 1813 . The rabbinate was moved to Schweinfurt in 1864 .
tasks
The duties included advising on school matters, managing foundations and distributing alms . To finance the district rabbinates, levies were paid by the individual Jewish communities.
