Timmy Dennis Mario Thiele (born July 31, 1991 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player . The striker is under contract with FC Viktoria Köln .
career
Thiele played in his youth for various Berlin clubs. He started playing soccer at Tennis Borussia . He then played for TSV Rudow 1888 , Hertha and Tasmania Gropiusstadt , before returning to his home club for a year in 2008 and then moving to Werder Bremen . There he played in his first season for the A-Juniors , but also made his professional league debut on September 15, 2009 when he was on the 8th matchday of the 3rd league in 2009/10 in the 0-1 home defeat against Kickers Offenbach at half-time Madjid Albry replaced. Although this was his only appearance this season in the men's area, for the 2010/11 season he was then taken over permanently in the Bremen reserve after he had been the most successful Bremen A-Junior with 17 points scorer.
In the summer break of 2011, Thiele moved to FC Schalke 04 and played with its reserve in the Regionalliga West . For the 2012/13 season , Thiele signed a one-year contract with Alemannia Aachen , relegated to the second division , after having previously completed a trial training session. In 31 games, the striker achieved 13 direct goal participation in the league and in cup competitions, but after the opening of insolvency proceedings and point deductions, Alemannia went to the regional league in spring 2013.
For the 2013/14 season remained Thiele in the 3. Liga and was in charge of U23 from Borussia Dortmund scheduled. A cruciate ligament rupture put the Berliner out of action until April 2014, but after his recovery he only scored two goals in seven games. As he would have subsequently occupied one of the few over 23 management positions, BVB no longer planned with him and Thiele was without an employer until February 2015. After three months with the western regional league club SC Wiedenbrück , the attacker accepted a contract offer from the English third division club Burton Albion . The German had his problems with the tougher style of play on the island and only scored once in 26 league games. He played four of them for his loan club and league competitor Oldham Athletic , Thiele missed the end of the season as a result of a shoulder injury.
Just one year after signing his contract in England, the striker returned to Germany and initially signed a one-year contract with regional league club FC Carl Zeiss Jena . With 27 points, Thiele was the team's most successful scorer and thus played a decisive role in the championship and in the relegation success against FC Viktoria Köln . The attacker missed parts of the third division 2017/18 season due to injury, but again scored the most goals, including four in the 4-3 home win against SV Wehen Wiesbaden on matchday 20.
This subsequently made the second division 1. FC Kaiserslautern aware of him, who tied him to him until June 2021. In the Red Devils, Thiele mainly occupied his traditional position as a striker, while Christian Kühlwetter , Florian Pick and Hendrick Zuck alternately occupied the wings. In the two seasons in which he was active for the club, the targeted second division return was missed, but Thiele among others ensured at least a place in the middle of the table with his hits.
In the summer of 2020, the Berliner stayed in the league and received a one-year contract with FC Viktoria Köln .
