Kai Klefisch (born December 3, 1999 in Leverkusen ) is a German soccer player .

Club career

Kai Klefisch moved from the youth team at Bayer 04 Leverkusen to the youth team at FC Viktoria Köln . There he played with the U17s in 2014/15 and with the U19s in 2016/17 in the Bundesliga West. In March 2018 he was part of the regional league team for the first time. For the 2018/19 season , Klefisch received a contract for the first team. He made his regional league debut on August 28, 2018 against SG Wattenscheid 09 , where he was on the pitch for 66 minutes. He was substituted on in the 1: 3 defeat in the 1st round of the 2018/19 DFB Cup against RB Leipzig on August 19. In total, he came to eight missions in his first season and was twice in the starting XI. At the end of the season, Klefisch was promoted to the third division with Viktoria Köln .

On the second day of the 3rd league season 2019/20 , Klefisch came on as a substitute for Chemnitzer FC and thus made his first appearance in a professional league. He scored his first goal on the 22nd matchday in a 4: 3 away win for Viktoria in Halle . Overall, Klefisch was in the starting line-up 14 times in his first third division season and scored two goals.
