Michael Joseph Arantes Seaton (born May 1, 1996 in Spanish Town ) is a Jamaican soccer player . The striker is under contract with FC Viktoria Köln and is a Jamaican national player.

Career

Youth and amateur football

In 2010, Seaton, who was born in Jamaica , joined the youth team at DC United .

Club career

On January 13, 2013, Seaton signed a professional contract under the Homegrown Player Rule at DC United . Shortly thereafter, the Richmond Kickers was loaned to them. He made his debut for the Kickers on May 3, 2013, scoring a goal in the same game. Seaton's first game for DC United was a friendly against Deportivo Guadalajara . In January 2014 he trained with the Serie A club Inter Milan .

On March 31, 2015, he was loaned to the Swedish first division club Örebro SK . That loan ended on June 4, 2015 and Seaton returned to DC United . On August 6, he moved to the Portland Timbers , but was only used for their second team.

After two years in the second Israeli League of Jamaicans when standing USL - Franchise Orange County SC under contract. In the first year the final play-off was lost against Phoenix Rising , in the second year it was already over in the round of 16. Seaton scored 28 goals in 60 league games.

For the second half of the 2019/20 season , the striker was signed by the German third division club FC Viktoria Köln .

National team

On November 15, 2013 Seaton was appointed to the squad of the Jamaican national team for the first time. He scored his first goal for Jamaica on March 5, 2014 in a friendly against St. Lucia .
