André Dej (born February 6, 1992 in Cologne ) is a football player with German and Polish citizenship . He is under contract with FC Viktoria Köln and is mostly used in defensive midfield.

Career

For the 2011/12 season, Andé Dej was promoted to the second team at MSV Duisburg after playing for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and MSV Duisburg in the youth team. He made his debut for MSV Duisburg II on August 7, 2011 in a 5-0 win against SV Schermbeck . In his second game for the reserve from MSV, he scored his first goal. In the game against VfB Homberg Dej scored the 1-0 winner in the first minute of stoppage time in the second half.

For the 2012/13 season André Dej moved from MSV Duisburg II to Sportfreunde Siegen in the Regionalliga West and made his debut on August 4, 2012 for his new team in the goalless draw against SSVg Velbert . At halftime he was substituted on for Sven Michel . Dej scored his premier goal in the Regionalliga-West on August 11, 2012 when he beat the second team of 1. FC Köln . After he was substituted in for Waldemar Schattner in the 79th minute, he scored the 4-0 final score in the 81st minute.

After two seasons at the Sportfreunde Siegen, André Dej was signed by league rivals FC Viktoria Köln . He made his debut on August 2, 2014 in a 3-1 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach's second team and in the 40th minute prepared the interim 1-0 lead by Fatih Candan .

For the 2015/16 season André Dej left Cologne again and joined Sportfreunde Lotte . He made his debut for his new club on August 2, 2015 in a 2-0 win against the reserves of Schalke 04 . Dej came on for Tim Wendel in the 73rd minute . He scored his first goal for Sportfreunde Lotte on October 24, 2015. In the win against Fortuna Düsseldorf's second team , Dej made it 3-1 in the 76th minute. He was able to end the season with his team as champions of the Regionalliga West and Lotte thereby qualified for the promotion games to the 3rd division . In both games against SV Waldhof Mannheim Dej was used and a goalless draw and a 2-0 win secured promotion to the third division. He made his debut in the third division and thus his professional debut on July 31, 2016 in a 3-0 win against the Werder Bremen reserves .

For the 2019/20 season , the midfielder prematurely terminated the contract he had signed in Regensburg in summer 2018 and returned to his old club Viktoria Köln, which had been promoted to the third division .
