Marcel Gottschling (born May 14, 1994 in Oldenburg ) is a German football player .

Career

Gottschling went through the entire youth department at VfB Oldenburg from 2002 and was appointed to the professional squad in 2013. He played there for two years in the Regionalliga Nord . The midfielder made 32 appearances in which he scored three goals. For the 2015/16 season Gottschling moved to Hansa Rostock in the 3rd division free of charge .

After the 2015/16 season he left Hansa and joined the regional league team FC Viktoria Köln . In the 2016/17 season he was champion of the Regionalliga West with Viktoria . Then he went back to the Regionalliga Nord and joined SSV Jeddeloh . Gottschling returned to Viktoria Köln in August 2018. In the 2018/19 season , Gottschling was again champion of the regional league with Viktoria and was promoted to the third division.
