Dittershausen is a district of Fuldabrück in the Kassel district , Hesse . The place has 2834 inhabitants together with Dennhausen as of December 31, 2005 .

location

The place lies in a loop of the Fulda on the Söhre. To the west is the Kassel-West motorway junction . The federal motorway 44 intersects there with the federal motorway 49 .

The buildings of Dennhausen and Dittershausen merge into one another. The center of the village is the village square in front of the church.

history

Dittershausen was probably already settled in 800 by a man named Thiedhard . The place name is also derived from him. The place was later called Thiedhardeshusen .

The place was mentioned for the first time in a document from Hasungen Monastery in 1253. In 1346, the knightly family of that time sold the village to the State of Hesse.

In 1546 the first local pastor was named Johannes Jacobi.
