The Dive is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises near Germain , in the municipality of Saint-Coutant , drains in pronounced loops in a generally north-easterly direction and flows into the Clain after 44 kilometers at Voulon as a left tributary . On its way, the dive crosses the Deux-Sèvres and Vienne departments .
