The Doblbach is a body of water in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg , which flows from the right into the uppermost Moosach near Moosach after a 5 km long, initially southern, then northern course . Its upper course is called Moosacher Bach .

Upper course of the Moosacher Bach

The Moosacher Bach begins its course just 0.2 km from the south-east bank of the Steinsee ( 577.1  m above sea level ) at 573  m above sea level. NHN on the edge of the forest east of the Moosach hamlet Oberseeon zum Moosacher Holz , which is in the area of Markt Glonn . Along the municipality and tree line, the stream flows south until it enters a forest and starts its 180 ° left-hand bend to the north between Adlinger Holz in the south-west and Litzel in the north-east. At the end of this forest ledge, west of the Glonn hamlet of Doblberg, it changes entirely to the area of the market town and circles the ridge of the hill, which tapers to the south, on which the small town stands. Almost at the southernmost point of its course, its most important tributary with a length of approx. 1 km flows to it from the southwest, a nameless ditch west of Adling In der Kehl at the foot of the Fuchsberg ( 609  m above sea level ). Then it completes its arch on the northern edge of the Filzen , which lies in a flat valley southwards towards Glonn and is drained by a nearby ditch that drains in this direction, and enters a narrow forest valley to the north. From there, about 2.2 km after the origin, the state road St 2351 runs next to him. He is now called Doblbach .

course

Dert Doblbach already flows through 0.2 km further, in the meantime in the area of the municipality of Bruck , which extends here from the east to the left edge of the valley against that of Glonn, successively two elongated lakes of approx. 0.9 ha each. A little below clears the valley floodplain again and the Doblbach flows back to the Moosach area. The meadow expands like a funnel. Where the wooded slopes expose to the right and left, the only short (0.4) left Griesbächl flows towards the edge of a leaf colony a little south of Moosach . On its last 0.6 km after that, the Doblbach runs northeast and passes the Brucker Einöde Doblbach at the right foot of the slope of the Moosach valley. Then it flows to 517  m above sea level. NHN from the right into the uppermost Moosach .

The Doblbach (including Moosacher Bach) flows after its 5.0 km long run about 56 meters below its origin, it has an average bed gradient of about 11 ‰.

Catchment area

The catchment area of the Doblbach covers 5.2 km², belongs entirely to the Ebersberg district and is located about 26 km southeast of Munich city center in the Inn-Chiemsee-Hügelland natural area .

Its hydrologically most important, but very inconspicuous watershed in the area near Filzen near Adling, runs in the south near the Laufkehre, where the catchment area of the upper Glonn borders, the one over the Mangfall comparatively high up, while the Doblbach over Moosach and then Attel further down to the Inn drains. In the area west of the catchment area border, the Spiegelbächl brings the precipitation to the uppermost Moosach, which is the closest body of water in the north and also takes up the runoff on the opposite side of the eastern watershed further down.

The Moosacher Bach initially runs southward in a worm-age terminal moraine. Where the terrain at its bend turns almost flat into the Filzen near Adling, which drains southwards, it crosses into a valley floor of peat that extends northwards from the northern edge of the village of Glonn to the beginning of the municipality of Moosach, in which the two lakes lie in the course. Over the valley flanks, on which fresh water molasses are partially spreading, the mountain ranges lie like the upper reaches in the Jungmöräne. The lowest course runs through the Würmzeit gravel of the lower terrace, only briefly a sintered limestone zone around Moosach.
