Doc Coyle
Doc Coyle (life dates unknown) is an American guitarist .
Career
Coyle began his career with his brother Dallas in the late 1990s with the metalcore band God Forbid from East Brunswick , New Jersey . With God Forbid, Coyle released six studio albums that sold over 300,000 copies worldwide. In August 2013, Doc Coyle left the band, which broke up a short time later. In 2012 Coyle formed the hard rock band Vagus Nerve . In the meantime Coyle helped out with bands like Lamb of God and Darkest Hour as guitarist and with Trivium and Unearth as bassist and worked as a songwriter for Body Count and Jamey Jasta . In 2015 Coyle moved to Los Angeles and played the album Alchemy as a rhythm guitarist by the band Meytal, which is backed by Israeli- born drummer Meytal Cohen . In early 2019 Coyle played a small tour with Mark Morton's solo project (Lamb of God).
In 2016 founded Coyle along with former DevilDriver - drummer John Boecklin, singer Tommy Vext , guitarist Chris Cain ( Bury Your Dead ) and the bassist Kyle Konkiel ( In This Moment ), the band Bad Wolves . Two years later the debut album Disobey was released . The band became known through their second single Zombie , a cover version of the song by the Cranberries . The Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan was supposed to record the song with the band, but died on the day of recording in London . The single received in the US and Canada each platinum .
