Does This Look Infected? is the second album of the Canadian punk - band Sum 41 . It was released on November 25, 2002 by Mercury / Island .

Creation and publication

The recordings for the album began in the summer of 2002. Avatar Studios in New York City were chosen as the studio and Greig Nori as the producer.

The album was released in German-speaking countries on November 25, 2002, and one day later the album was released in North America . The British version contains two additional titles, Reign In Pain and WWVII Parts 1 & 2 . Furthermore, Is This Look Infected? the band's only album to feature the Parental Advisory sticker. Therefore, in addition to the actual version, an album with censored titles was released.

The album was mostly rated only average by critics .

Gregory Britsch awards 3 out of 5 stars on laut.de and writes that the album is only average, but fun.

The album gets 5 out of 10 points on plattentests.de . Critic Sven Cadario says that the music is only mediocre, but the album still sounds kind of nice.

whiskey-soda.de awards the school grade 2+ and describes the album as a second work not suitable for radio, and as a damn good pop punk album.

Stephen Thomas Erlewine from allmusic.com awards 3 out of 5 stars and writes that the music is nothing new, but that it still sounds nice.
