The Dollard is a passenger ship of the shipping company Baltrum line . It has been used for scheduled, excursion and special trips since the beginning of 2014. The ship is named after the Dollart , a bay in the mouth of the Ems .

history

The ship was built with hull number 42 at the Lübbe Voss shipyard. The keel was laid on February 7th, the launch on May 12th, 1972. The ship was completed on July 1, 1972.

The ship was to 1993 as a cruise liner Lili Marleen from the shipping of the island community Langeoog used. After that it was used as Seal II for the shipping company Ziegert in Tönning for trips to the seal banks until 2006 , before it was used for the Adler ships in the Holstein Wadden Sea from 2007 to 2009 . Since 2010 the Dollard has been part of the International Dollard Route between the ports of Ditzum , Emden and Delfzijl . The ship belonged to the Freimuth shipping company from spring 2018 to December 2019 and, in addition to burial at sea, went on excursions on the Ems . Since December 2019 the new owner has been the shipping company Baltrum-Linie.

Technical specifications

The ship is powered by two Deutz diesel engines (type: SF6M716) with an output of 107 kW each. The motors act on two fixed propellers via reduction gears . The maximum speed of the ship is 10  knots .
