Dominic Kimengich
Dominic Kimengich (born April 23, 1961 in Kituro , Baringo District , Kenya ) is a Kenyan clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Eldoret .
Life
Dominic Kimengich was ordained a priest on September 14, 1986 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on March 20, 2010 titular bishop of Tanaramusa and auxiliary bishop in Lodwar . He was ordained episcopate on May 22nd of the same year by the Archbishop of Nairobi , Cardinal John Njue ; Co- consecrators were Zacchaeus Okoth , Archbishop of Kisumu , and Patrick Joseph Harrington SMA , Bishop of Lodwar.
On March 5, 2011, he was appointed Bishop of Lodwar.
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Eldoret on November 16, 2019. The inauguration took place on February 1 of the following year.
