The Evangelical-Lutheran village church Dorfilm , formerly St. Maria , is in Dorfilm , a district of the town of Leutenberg in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district . The church is entered in the list of cultural monuments in Leutenberg . The parish Dorfilm belongs to the parish area Drognitz in Kirchenkreis Rudolstadt-Saalfeld in the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

With a verschieferten gable roof covered hall church was in 1584 on the remains of a Romanesque chapel rebuilt. In the west it has an eight-sided roof tower on which a hood sits, which is crowned by a lantern . From 1708 to 1716 the nave was increased. There were changes in the area of ​​the windows and essential parts of the church furnishings were installed. The interior is provided with a wooden beam ceiling. It has two-story galleries in the north and in the west. The pulpit altar from the 2nd half of the 17th century has an image of the Last Supper in the predella and depictions of parables on the parapet . The entrance door has a wooden box lock and late Gothic fittings .

The baroque organ with 9 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built before 1800 by an unknown organ builder . The church was last renovated inside in 1962 and outside in 1985 .
