The Evangelical Lutheran village church of Gratzungen is in Gratzungen , a district of the town of Bleicherode in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia . The village church Gratzungen belongs to the parish Friedrichsthal the parish Trebra in Kirchenkreis Südharz the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The half-timbered church over four axes was built in 1755 by the builder Johann Heinrich Bartholomäus Walther instead of an older predecessor church. In the west of the hall church there is a two-story, slate-covered , recessed church tower with a baroque dome . The nave has single-storey galleries on three sides . Above the beam in the middle is a wooden barrel vault , above the galleries is a flat ceiling. The baroque pulpit altar was repainted in the 19th century. A baroque baptismal angel hovers over the baptismal font .

The organ with ten registers , divided into two manuals and a pedal , was built around 1900 by an unknown organ builder .
