The Evangelical Lutheran village church Meuselbach-Schwarzmühle is in Meuselbach-Schwarzmühle , a district of the rural community city Schwarzatal in Saalfeld-Rudolstadt in Thuringia . The foundation stone for the hall church was laid on May 16, 1738. The building was completed in 1743, but was not inaugurated until 1760. The nave , which is covered with a slate gable roof , has a three-sided end in the east, in the west there is the tower on which an eight-sided dome sits, which is crowned by an open lantern with a tower ball . The bell is located in the free-standing bell tower .

The interior has a wooden flat ceiling with images of the baptism of Jesus , the Lord's Supper , the crucifixion and the resurrection . The galleries have three floors and are decorated with biblical images. The pulpit altar in white, gold and red was donated in 1743 and renovated in 1885. There is a sound cover above the pulpit . The baptismal font , decorated with looped chains of roses, dates from the construction period. The organ built by Johann Friedrich Schulze is located in the baroque prospect . It has 24 registers , divided into two manuals and a pedal . From 2006 to 2011 the factory was completely restored by the Hoffmann and Schindler company .
