Dorge Rostand Kouemaha (born June 28, 1983 in Loum ; also George Kouemaha or just Rostand ) is a Cameroonian football player .
Career
Club career
Born in Loum in Western Cameroon, Dorge Kouemaha played in his youth with Lumière de Banka and Diap Banja before moving to the Cameroonian first division club Victoria United de Limbé for the 2004 season. There the center-forward drew attention to himself as a goalscorer when he scored four goals in a game against Racing de Bafoussam . At the end of the season he was the top scorer in the league and was named the best young player. Since his club could not keep the class, Kouemaha left this.
He moved to Aris Thessaloniki during the Greek winter break . The 2004/05 season was very changeable for the club. On the one hand, the team played its way to the cup final and only then lost to the Greek champions Olympiacos Piraeus , on the other hand, they lost the connection in the table in the relegation battle and were relegated third from bottom of the Super League . In the following season, the Cameroonian moved to the first Hungarian league for newly promoted FC Tatabánya . In the 2006/07 season he was successful with 12 goals, which is why he got an offer from the reigning champions VSC Debrecen . Although the club failed to defend the title for the third time in a row - they finished second - Kouemaha was able to win his first club title as a cup winner. With 13 goals he was the second most successful goalscorer in the league and in the game against FC Sopron he again scored four goals in one encounter.
In 2008 the Cameroonian striker left Hungary and joined the German second division club MSV Duisburg . He signed a contract until 2010. Here he scored a hat trick in the game against TSV 1860 Munich .
Shortly before the end of the transfer period of the 2009/10 season , Kouemaha moved from MSV Duisburg to Belgium to FC Bruges , where he signed a four-year contract.
For the 2011/12 season, Kouemaha moved on loan to Bundesliga club 1. FC Kaiserslautern . With the Red Devils he signed a one-year contract until 2012, whereby the FCK had a purchase option. On August 14, 2011 (2nd matchday) he made his debut for FCK when he came on as a substitute for Olcay Şahan against FC Augsburg in the 70th minute . His first Bundesliga goal was the 2-1 winner in the 78th minute of the away game at Schalke on October 15, 2011 (9th matchday). At the end of February 2012, Kouemaha tore part of his left Achilles tendon during training without outside interference, so he could no longer play for FCK until the end of the season. He had two goals and two assists in 17 games for FCK. The purchase option was not drawn after the season.
In the summer break of 2012, Eintracht Frankfurt loaned Kouemaha for a year. After two short assignments, he was awarded to Turkey shortly after the winter break.
Kouemaha did not return to Belgium and signed with the second division Adana Demirspor . After the end of the 2013/14 season, he left Demirspor again and instead hired the Belgian club Lierse SK .
After eight games and two goals, he moved back to Turkey in the second half of the season. He signed with Denizlispor for half a year .
From January to July 2016 he played for Foolad FC in Iran and at the beginning of 2017 he joined the Belgian third division team Sprimont Comblain Sport for half a year , where he scored six goals in ten games.
Kouemaha has been playing for the amateur club KVK Westhoek since the 2017/18 season .
National team career
In October 2008, Dorge Kouemaha was appointed to the Cameroonian national team for the first time by the German coach Otto Pfister . In the World Cup qualifier against Mauritius , he was in the squad for the first time, but was not used. He made his debut in a friendly against South Africa in November 2008 when he came on as a substitute. By 2010 he had six international matches, but he did not manage to hit one.
