Doubrava (German Dombrau , Polish Dąbrowa ) is a municipality with 1507 inhabitants. The municipality is located ten kilometers southeast of Bohumín and five kilometers west of Karviná . The community belongs to the Okres Karviná in Silesia . As the first mention of the community, a papal declaration from 1229 is accepted, a document from Pope Gregory IX. .
