Drávatamási ( Croatian TOMASIN ) is a Hungarian community in the county Barcs in Somogy county .

Geographical location

Drávatamási is located about eight kilometers east of the city of Barcs , on the left bank of the Dráva river , which forms the border with Croatia . The neighboring municipalities in Hungary are Drávagárdony, Kastélyosdombó and Darány. On the other side of the Croatian border is the town of Žlebina, three kilometers southwest .

Drávatamási can only be reached via the secondary road No. 58161. The town's train station has been closed because the traffic on the railway line from Barcs to Villány was suspended in 2007, so that rail travelers have to use the train station in Darány, about eight kilometers to the north.
