Barcs ( German Bartsch , older also Draustadt , Croatian Barča ) is a city in southwest Hungary , on the Croatian- Hungarian border, on the Drava , which is navigable from here, according to other information from Zagiotschau . In 1979 Barcs were granted city rights. About 11,500 people live in the city.
Sports
The Barcsi SC football team will play in Nemzeti Bajnokság II , Hungary's 2nd league , from 2007/08 .
