He later joined Jimmy Boy in a trio (the Mexican version of a tag team consisting of three wrestlers) with José Roberto Islas García ("Billy Boy") and Vangelis . The trio had the image of a boy band and was named after the Spice Girls Los Spice Boys. The trio was mainly active in the undercard area.

In 2001 his gimmick was changed to Alan . Again he appeared in a trio with Billy Boy. Decnis joined as a second partner. Under the name Los Barrio Boys they started again in the undercard, but at the same time they continued to train. Over time they became better known and together with Oscar Sevilla won the AAA's Mexican National Atómicos Championship twice .

In 2008 Soro changed gimmick again and became the masked wrestler Gato Everready . This is a masked figure originally portrayed by another wrestler. She is part of a sponsorship deal with Energizer Holdings and promotes their energy drink Everready Battery . Until 2011 he was mainly seen under this gimmick, where he mostly lost. The name was changed to El Gato after the end of the sponsorship deal . From time to time he still competes under this name.

On April 20, 2011, Soto finally became Drago and was employed as Top-Tecnico ( Face ) of the AAA promotion. Drago joined, among other things, was a founding member of the Stables El Inframundo , of which La Parka was leader. As La Parka zum Rudo ( Heel ), Vampiro became their leader. On June 14, 2015, he also won the major event Alas de Oro.

Drago was one of five AAA stars to star in the wrestling television series Lucha Underground on the El Rey Network . He made his debut in the third episode and subsequently had a feud against King Cuerno . After ending this feud by winning a last-man-standing match, he had a best-of-5 series against Aero Star and was finally allowed to compete against Prince Puma for the Lucha Underground Championship . After he was defeated by this, he was initially removed from the show according to the storyline. However, he returned later. Together with Aero Star and Fénix , he won the Lucha Underground Trios Championship at the end of the second season . In the third season he betrayed his team and became trio champion again with Pindar and Vibora.

At the same time, he also competed for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) for the first time in 2015 and lost his first-round match against Pentagón Jr. at the major event Battle of Los Angeles. In September he also made his debut for Chikara and became King of Trios with Aero Star and Fénix .
