Drew Van Acker

Drew Van Acker (born April 2, 1986 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .

Life

Drew Van Acker was born in Philadelphia in April 1986 . He lived in Medford , New Jersey, until he was ten . During his school days he was in the theater company of his school and so came to acting. He also played soccer and was on the lacrosse team. This earned him a football scholarship to Towson University in Maryland . While still a student, he took acting lessons and therefore decided to move to New York City to realize himself as an actor.

He had his first television role in 2009 in the crime series Castle . This was followed by a guest appearance on Greek and a supporting role in the web series The Lake . In 2010 he got the lead role of Ian Archer on the Cartoon Network television series Tower Prep . He also starred in the independent film Fortress . In June 2011, he took over the subsidiary recurring role of Jason DiLaurentis in the ABC Family - Mystery series Pretty Little Liars , which in the first season of Parker Bagley had been played.

From 2013 to 2015 he embodied Remi Delatour in the series Devious Maids - Dirty Secrets , which is produced by Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry .
