The Droga wojewódzka 648 ( DW648 ) is a 49 kilometer long Droga wojewódzka ( Voivodeship Road ) in the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland . The route in the Powiats Łomżyński and Kolneński connects several high-level roads. It allows from different directions a detour around the city of Lomza (Łomża) towards Warsaw .

The DW648 at Morgowniki

The road branches off in the village of Miastkowo from the national road DK61 (Warsaw – Łomża – Augustów) and runs in a north-easterly direction to the city of Nowogród . There the river Narew is crossed together with the intersecting voivodship road DW645 (to Myszyniec ). Another bridge leads over the Pisa (Pisa, Pissek) .

In the village Korzeniste that crosses national road DK63 Radzyń Podlaski - Węgorzewo (Angerburg) . Then the DW648 turns more to the east and reaches the voivodship road DW668 leading to Osowiec-Twierdza in the village of Przytuły .
