The Droga wojewódzka 500 ( DW 500 ) is a Polish province road . It runs within the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship and remains limited to the urban area of Elbląg ( Elbing ). With a total length of only 5.5 kilometers, it is one of the smallest voivodeship roads in Poland.

The DW 500 is an important link between the Elbląg districts Raczki and Wschód, both of which are located on the faster DK 7 ( European route 77 ), from which a branch to the voivodship roads DW 503 , DW 504 and DW 509 is not possible. The connections to these roads are made by DW 500.

The DW 500 runs in its first route section (to the confluence of ul. Hetmańska ( Neustadt Wall Street ) to the Al. Tysiąclecia ( grave road )) on the route of the former Reichsstraße 1 which, by today's DK 22 , take the current DW 504 further led .
