The Droga wojewódzka 512 ( DW 512 ) is a Polish provincial road , the east-west direction in within the province Masuria runs. Over a length of 49 kilometers along the Polish-Russian border, it connects the town of Szczurkowo (Russian Широкое / Schirokoje, German Schönbruch ) - which is divided between Poland and Russia - with the towns of Bartoszyce ( Bartenstein ), Górowo Iławeckie ( Landsberg (East Prussia) ) and Pieniężno ( flour sack ). It turns out to be a link between the national road DK 51 and the voivodship roads DW 507 , DW 510 , DW 511 and DW 592 .

In the Szczurkowo - Bartoszyce section, the DW 512 runs along the route of the former German Reichsstrasse 142 .
