The Droga wojewódzka 589 ( DW589 ) is a four-kilometer-long Droga wojewódzka ( Voivodeship Road ) in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . The route in the Powiat Toruński runs north of the city of Toruń ( German Thorn ). It connects the national road DK91 with the DW551 .

The road branches off from the DW551 in Chełmża ( Lake Culm) and runs south. In town it is called 'ulica Toruńska'. About 300 meters behind the town of Grzywna (Griffen) the DW589 reaches the national road DK91.
