Dsmitryj Wiktarawitsch Mjaleschka ( Belarusian Дзмітрый Віктаравіч Мялешка , Russian Дмитрий Викторович Мелешко / Dmitri Viktorovich Meleschko * 8. November 1982 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who since 2016 again at Yunost Minsk in Belarusian Extraliga is under contract.
Career
Mjaleschka comes from the junior division of HK Junost Minsk , for whom he played in the East European Hockey League between 1998 and 2001 . He then moved to local rivals HK Keramin Minsk , with whom he won the EEHL championship in 2003 and 2004, the Belarusian championship in 2002 and the Belarusian cup competition in the same year. He was also runner-up by Belarus in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005 with Junost and Keramin Minsk.
Between 2005 and 2007 he went on the ice for Salawat Julajew Ufa in the Russian Super League before he was signed by HK Spartak Moscow in 2007 . After a year in the Russian capital, he was signed by HK Sibir Novosibirsk for the first season of the Continental Hockey League . After 24 KHL games for Novosibirsk, Mjaleschka returned to his hometown in mid-December 2008, where he played for HK Dinamo Minsk in the KHL until 2016 . In addition, he was temporarily used in parallel with the HK Schachzjor Salihorsk farm team in the Belarusian extra league.
In July 2016 he left Dinamo Minsk after 7.5 years of club membership and returned to HK Junost Minsk.
International
For Belarus , Mjaleschka took part in the junior division at the U18 World Junior Championships in 2000 and the U20 Junior World Championships in 2001 and 2002 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2005 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 and 2011 World Championships and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .
