Duo Bujie ( Chinese  多 布杰 , Pinyin Duō Bùjié; born February 16, 1994 ) is a Chinese long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Duo Bujie gained his first international experience at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , where he finished twelfth in the 5,000 meter run in 14: 13.74 minutes . In 2015 he came in 80th place at the Cross Country World Championships in Guiyang and finished fifth in the Asian Championships in Wuhan 13: 55.58 min. Thereupon he retired at the World Championships in Beijing with 14: 07.35 min in advance . In 2016 he qualified in the marathon for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he finished 90th after 2:24:22 h .

In 2017 he reached 87th place at the World Cross Country Championships in Kampala and was again fifth over 5000 meters at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar, India . At the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta , he won the bronze medal in the marathon in 2:18:48 h. The following year he classified himself in fifth place over 10,000 meters at the Asian Championships in Doha in 28: 57.31 minutes. He then took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples in the half marathon, where he originally came in third, but was disqualified after the race for improper food during the competition. In early October he competed in the marathon at the World Championships in Doha, but could not finish his race.

In 2017, Duo became Chinese champions in the 10,000 meter run and in 2019 in the marathon.
