Dylan Daniel Mahmoud Bronn (born June 19, 1995 in Cannes , France ) is a Tunisian football player who is currently active for FC Metz and the Tunisian national team . He plays in the center-back position.

Career

society

Bronn started his career at AS Cannes in France. He moved to Chamois Niort in Ligue 2 in 2016 . He made his league debut on July 29, 2016 in a 0-0 draw against RC Lens at Stade René Gaillard and was then able to establish himself as a regular in defense. Due to his good performances, he attracted the interest of the Belgian first division club KAA Gent, who signed him at the beginning of the 2017/18 season. He made his league debut on August 6, 2017 in a 1-0 home loss to Royal Antwerp . He scored his first goal against Royal Excel Mouscron on November 24, 2017 . At Ghent he also achieved a status as a regular player.

In the 2019/20 season, he was only used in four of a possible 21 league games by the end of the year. There was also one game in the Belgian Cup and one in the Europa League. At the turn of the year Bronn moved to the French first division club FC Metz , where he signed a contract until June 2024.

National team

He made his debut for the Tunisian national team in a friendly against Morocco on March 28, 2017 and played in a 1-0 loss for the entire season. He represented Tunisia at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and scored a goal in the preliminary round match against Belgium , which was lost 5-2.

Bronn was also part of the Tunisian national team at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations , where he played six full-time matches. Two games were extended. Only in the final he was not used

Bronn was born in France and is of Tunisian descent on the mother's side and German on his father's side.
